Ayodhya Ram Mandir Yatra from Dubai & the Gulf
For Indian families in the UAE, a Ram Mandir yatra is no longer a once-in-a-decade plan. Dubai and Delhi are six hours apart by air, and a long weekend is genuinely enough — fly out after work on Thursday, stand in front of Ram Lalla on Saturday morning, be back for Monday.
The one thing Gulf travellers tell us again and again is this: the flights are easy, but the ground is not obvious. Which airport do you land at? How far is Ayodhya from there? Do you need a pass? Where do parents who cannot walk two kilometres in the sun stay? That is the part we do.
How the trip works
- 1 Message us on WhatsApp with your dates and how many people are travelling (including elderly parents or children). You will get an honest answer about rooms, darshan slots and timings — on your time zone, usually within the hour.
- 2 We pick your route. Direct to Lucknow if the four-hour flight lines up, or Dubai to Delhi with the short hop to Ayodhya if you need specific dates.
- 3 You book the flight; we handle everything after landing. Driver in arrivals with a placard, hotel checked in under your name, E-carts and darshan assistance arranged, satvik food planned.
- 4 A ₹ token advance locks the dates, with the balance settled when you are here. No full prepayment, no pressure — that is not how a pilgrimage should start.
Your two routes from Dubai
| Route | Flying time | Ground time | Total door to door | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dubai → Lucknow (LKO), non-stop | ≈ 4h | 2h 15m private drive | ≈ 7–8 hours | The shortest journey; families arriving on the flydubai / Air India Express non-stop |
| Dubai → Delhi (DEL), then hop to Ayodhya (AYJ) | ≈ 3.5–4h + 1h 20m | 20 min transfers | ≈ 8–10 hours | Specific dates, airline choice, or adding Delhi and Agra |
Both non-stops run to Lucknow and Delhi daily but on varying schedules — we recheck the live timetable for your dates before you lock anything. From Doha, Riyadh, Muscat or Abu Dhabi the same two gateways apply; the connection is simply tagged onto the front of the same plan.
What we arrange once you land
- Airport pickup and drop at Lucknow (LKO) or Ayodhya (AYJ), any hour, with a placard and a private AC cab.
- Verified hotels with lifts, hot water and Western bathrooms — the non-negotiables when you are travelling with parents.
- Darshan assistance for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi: Sugam Darshan slot guidance, queue walk-through, and E-carts inside the pedestrian perimeter so nobody walks the long stretch in the heat.
- Satvik, Jain and no-onion-garlic meals, planned in advance rather than explained at the table.
- A coordinated itinerary — Hanuman Garhi, Kanak Bhawan, Dashrath Mahal, Saryu Aarti, and the quieter corners like Guptar Ghat and Surya Kund.
- Multi-city planning if yatra is part of a longer India trip: Varanasi, Prayagraj, Delhi and Agra all connect sensibly from Ayodhya.
If you are coming for Deepotsav
Deepotsav — the evening lakhs of diyas are lit across the Saryu ghats — is the single busiest week of Ayodhya's year, and Gulf families plan their India visits around it. Expect the window around 7–9 November 2026, rooms booked two to three months in advance, and one-way crowd movement at Ram Ki Paidi on the main evening. Our Deepotsav 2026 guide covers dates, viewing and the free e-pass; message us early if you want a room near Ram Path, because that is the one week they truly run out.
What it costs, honestly
Ground arrangements — hotels, private cab, darshan assistance, E-carts and meals — start from ₹12,499 per person for the 2-night Standard tier, with Deluxe and VIP Executive tiers for larger families and upscale stays. International airfare is separate; if you want, our desk books it at live airline rates so you have one point of contact for the whole trip. The full breakdown, itineraries and tiers are on the Dubai to Ayodhya tour page.
Before you book
- Carry originals. Indian passport holders use their passport; OCI cardholders carry passport plus OCI card; UAE nationals need a valid Indian visa. Photocopies are not accepted at the temple security check.
- Never pay anyone for a darshan pass. Sugam and aarti passes are free or face-value through official channels. If someone "guarantees" a pass for a price, it is not genuine — read the Sugam Darshan guide first.
- Check our rating for yourself. We are rated 4.9 on Google — you can read the reviews on our About page.
